This is now an indispensable appliance in my home. I use it for my smartphones and to give my re-usable face mask that smell of sun dried linen, rather than tolerate the stench of my sweat and breath, when in between washes. Just leave items for sanitizing for 10 minutes in the device. Once the lightning rod light goes off, your item is done being cleaned.
PhoneSoap is the original crowdfunded company that came up with and built this phone tanning bed. It fires up UV-C light that bathes your phone and whatever small items you wish to sanitize. UV-C represents one of the 3 types of UV rays you get from the sun. The other 2 are UV-A and UV-B. This product is well researched, but has also been replicated by other manufacturers and sold cheaply. The big difference is that the imitation products do not go through testing and is often found not emanating actual UV light and even if they do, it may be non UV-C, which means they hold no sanitizing effect. Something to be aware of before you waste your money on cheaper sanitizing boxes that do not really work.
